Although there are still many dramatic events in the history of the royal family that could be explored, Morgan has stated that he does not want to bring the series into modern times. In recent months, there have been rumors of a possible prequel, but there are currently no official confirmations. In an interview with Variety, Morgan mentioned having an idea but needing special circumstances to bring it to life.
In the meantime, for those who wish to immerse themselves in The Crown’s atmosphere once again, the only alternative is to revisit the TV series. All episodes are available on Netflix, but unfortunately, the free trial period is no longer available in Italy.
